1. How to Request Account and Data Deletion
We provide two straightforward methods for you to request the permanent deletion of your account and data:
Method A: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
You can seamlessly initiate an account deletion request directly from within the School Club mobile application:
- Open the School Club app and securely log in.
- Navigate to the Settings or Profile dashboard from the main menu.
- Tap on Account Settings.
- Select the Delete Account option in red.
- Follow the on-screen prompt to authenticate and confirm your deletion request.
Method B: Via Email Request
If you no longer have access to the mobile app, you can formally request data deletion via email:
- Send an email to info@schoolclub.in from the email address registered with your account.
- Use the exact subject line: "Data Deletion Request - [Your Full Name / Admission ID]".
- Include your affiliated school name, a contact number, and a brief reason for deletion to expedite identity verification.
2. Deletion Process & Institutional Verification
- Identity & Academic Verification: Because School Club acts as a Data Processor for educational institutions, all deletion requests must first be verified by your respective school administration. This prevents the unlawful erasure of mandatory academic and financial records.
- Data Erased: Once approved by the school, we will permanently and irreversibly erase your personal identifiers (name, email, phone number), login credentials, and app telemetry data from our active production databases within thirty (30) days.
- Data Retained for Legal Compliance: Please note that certain academic records (e.g., fee payment ledgers, official transcripts, attendance logs) may be legally required to be retained by the educational institution under local laws. School Club retains this specific subset of data solely in our capacity as a technology provider for the school.
